![]() ![]() I bought these concealers a while ago and have used them well enough to write a review and show you guys how it performs coverage, lasting power, creasing-issue and many more. The latter is a colour corrector which is used to correct deep under eye circles or dark spots. I might consider purchasing the LA Girl Concealer in another shade though.Today I’ll be reviewing LA Girl Concealers in the shade Medium Beige and Orange. The Zoo concealer in #1 can be a colour dupe for The Saem #1 if you need a light coverage one. The Saem and Zoo range has limited to no suitable undertones for me although The Saem has good coverage. ![]() 2 shades only of which both lean towards pink/neutral undertones. ![]() Chose the wrong shade (now it’s more like a colour corrector for me?).Harder to blend (my advice is to use a damp sponge to help the blending process).Undertone does not suit me (Korean products’ neutral usually leans towards the pink side) since I am more neutral/warm.Contains fragrance (if you’re particular).Saem Concealer: 4/5 (reasons for not giving a 5/5 below for all products) The shade Natural is also good for undereye concealing since its moderate peachy/salmon undertone is like a colour corrector and concealer in one. However, it sets really fast and becomes hard to blend in a matter of seconds (at least for the undereye). LA Girl’s concealer is very thick and has very good coverage. However, because of its thin consistency, it blends out very well. They don’t cover my eye circles (pretty much at all), and I have to layer it for spot concealing. ![]() The Saranghae Zoo concealer is pretty weak in terms of coverage. On days where I don’t feel like wearing foundation, these concealers do a good job since their coverage is so good. Although they don’t cover my dark eye circles fully (but this might be due to the excessive blending I do to prevent my under eyes from looking cakey). The Saem concealers both have very good coverage.Appears peachy on me, but on darker/warmer skin tones might turn a little orange. I wouldn’t say no, but I have to add that it has a rather peachy/salmon-like undertone. LA Girl Pro Conceal in Natural – many other reviews describe it as neutral.Saranghae Zoo Concealer in #1 – as you can see, the colour is very much alike to The Saem #1.The Saem #1 and #1.5 – both have neutral undertones (1.5 looks yellow but dries more neutral). The Saem Cover Perfection Tip Concealer in #1 and #1.5 (6.5g each).Shown in the picture above, the 4 concealers I currently have are: Let’s begin! Left to Right: LA Girl Pro in Natural The Saem in #1 The Saem in #2 Saranghae Zoo in #1 I decided to write this review because I’m not fully satisfied with any of my current 4 concealers enough to repurchase and thus would like to share with y’all about some things to take note when buying your first or another new concealer. Hi there! I took a really long hiatus from this as I was busy with university stuff, but these few months I will be catching up with reviews, tips and declutter/panning projects! Do keep a lookout for the upcoming posts □Ī quick introduction to what I’m going through in this post:Ĭoncealers are a staple in everyone’s makeup kits and I’m pretty much a sucker for cheap and highly rated ones. ![]()
